before you date a girl with a mental illness, remember: saying, “you’re beautiful” won’t balance the chemicals in her brain.

and don’t fucking say, “i’ll be here for you, no matter what,” if you don’t mean it.

don’t think you’re fixing her by saying, “i love you.” because you’re not

This needs more notes.

All of it, but mostly the bolded

Living with mental illness means that on some days it will be even harder to cope and you might not be able to explain why. It could be because you havent slept enough, because a smell reminded you of feeling sad, or for no reason at all.

This is a reminder that we dont have to justify our feelings or abilities to anyone, just do whats needed to make it to the next day.

what are effective study methods

hellostudying answered:

Hey ! :) Those are just the methods I’ve been enjoying a lot lately :

  • Elaborative Interrogattion: "why" questions whilst studying will help you to make connections between new and old material (which is super helpful if you are studying for finals) !
  • Self-explanation: If you don’t get something at the very first attempt you shouldn’t give up but try to explain it to yourself until you get it ( if this won’t work from the beginning don’t worry you will be better after some tries otherwise you should ask your friends, read that chapter again or if nothing works ask your teacher ! )
  • Testing yourself: ask your teachers or check the internet fro self tests about your material ( this will help to 1. improve your reading and answering skills and 2. lower your anxiety )
  • Association: Don’t just read try to make up a story with the material you have to study this will help you remember stuff, promise !
  • The place : its super important where you study check my post on : How to organize your desk if you have problems with that ( a clean workplace can cause a clean mind :) )

I hope this is a help for you :) x
